Hello from A.J. and Julie,

Well it's been a while since we've updated this page. There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day. Spring is well under way and before we know it there will be leaves on the trees again and all will be right with the world.

Julie and I have just taken our vacation before we begin to get A & J Villas ready for the summer season. Like all vacations this one went by much too quickly. We packed a lot into a short amount of time hiking around the Joshua Tree National Park and San Jacinto Mountains in California. We also did some relaxing.

On the flight home I picked up American Airlines magazine "American Way" and was surprised to see a full-page article on the hot vacation area we all know and love. The article was titled "Wildwoods' Retro Revival." The article talked about the 50's theme to many of the buildings using the Maureen Restaurant on Schelenger Ave. in Wildwood as an example. The author, Kent Steinriede, notes that the food is good. Now I'll have to give it a try. The author even went so far as to compare the Wildwoods to South Beach in Miami! We know that there is much more to the Wildwoods than the architecture, however. We keep coming back for the family atmosphere and the large, clean and free beaches.

As I mentioned we are getting ready for the summer season and will be spending weekends cleaning and beginning some upgrades to the apartments. We aren't sure how much we'll be able to get done but we hope that whatever we do will make your stay more pleasant.
