Hello from A & J Villas,
This is our welcome to the summer letter a bit late. Last time I updated this message we were just finishing up with our renovations to apartment 2. Many of you would know that as "The Plush Chamber" but with the renovation comes a new name. Apartment 2 is now known as "The Lighthouse" for obvious reasons (obvious once you see it that is).
In my last message I spoke of the changes we made to "The Lighthouse" and also mentioned some changes to the Wildwoods themselves. There is a new convention center and of course new rides on the boardwalk but there are even bigger changes happening all the time. The Wildwoods seem to be in the midst of a building boom with condos and new houses going up all the time. The area certainly hasn't lost its charm, it's just gotten a new one.
As always we're constantly tweaking A & J Villas to make your stay more comfortable. The grill that was on the patio saw better days and so we bought a new one. This website is another way that we hope to connect with our regular guests and those of you who are new to us. You may have noticed the new look - our first since going on-line. I hope this makes your virtual visit as nice as your actual stay with us.
Well the summer seems to be picking up pace every day and before I know it I'll be writting a new message thanking everyone for a great season. There is still a lot of activity left however and a good place to start is with the schedule of events. My personal favorite is the fireworks every Friday night. Just take a walk down to the beach for a great view.
September also offers a lot of activity such as the NJ Firemen's Convention and the Irish Festival in North Wildwood and Seafarer's Weekend along the bay in Wildwood Crest. The weather is really nice in September too so check out our specials for September get-a-ways.
