Hello from A & J Villas,

It's true the summer is over and what a wonderful summer it was. Although we might not be saying this too long it seems the drought was a small price to pay for such great weather. Labor day was a wash out and all the sunny days can't make up for everyone who planned a vacation that week but over all I can't complain.

We were pleased that everyone liked the changes to "the lighthouse" and hope to bring more surprises next year. We would love to continue on the same pace we set last year but fear that will be impossible. We had quite a busy winter last year and hope to take it a bit easier this year. We will be able to finish the bedrooms in The Lighthouse so we can turn our attention to apartment 1. Our priority in Apartment 1 will be a new floor in the kitchen, dining room and hallway. The new name and theme of apartment 1 will be The Beach. I hope everyone enjoyed the new grill! Julie and I certainly used it enough.

I know I'm probably biased but I think the entertainment has gotten better and better each year. The boardwalk is a much more family oriented place with great new rides for kids and adults alike. Something that Julie and I used for the first time was the walking/rollerblading and biking path that runs from the gazebo to the boardwalk. This was a really nice way to start your day.

The summer just flew by and hopefully the winter won't be a long or cold one, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Please check the website often as we'll be adding pictures of this years renovations. Remember to book early to insure your spot at A & J Villas.

Have a safe and warm winter and we'll see you at the shore soon.
