It’s almost November and my usual fall message is a bit late this year. I don’t usually waste any time and have this done by early October but I’ve been a little lazy. I guess Julie and I were just a little tired after our ambitious renovations of the past few years. We still have quite a few plans for the off season, some that you will notice (and hopefully enjoy) and some that just come with the territory. While it might be necessary and important to re-paint the roof over apartment 2 and the breezeway it isn’t very exciting for you, our guests. Repairing and re-painting the front steps outside apartment 1 might not make you say “Wow” but it’s still important. Hopefully the other changes will be more impressive but you’ll have to wait. We won’t have much time this year as we won’t be able to start any work until May but that gives us plenty of time to plan. One hint: apartment one is where you’ll find the changes this year. Once again we have to be thankful for the great people who stay with us year after year. Seeing all the familiar faces means a lot to us and makes us want to make A&J Villas the best place to stay in the Crest. If you’re reading these words thanks for checking in with us. I don’t think anyone expected much after such a bad spring but the summer turned out to be very good at the shore. Of course there’s nothing better than being in the Crest and Wildwood is getting better and better. There certainly is no shortage of fun things to do. Reservations are filling up faster and faster every year so as soon as you make plans check us out so you don’t miss your favorite week or favorite apartment. And remember booking is open to everyone beginning February 1, 2004 so if you stayed with us in 2003 take advantage of the priority reservations. Have a safe and warm winter and we'll see you at the shore soon. A.J. and Julie, |
