Each year we'll try to do one major improvement to keep A & J Villas as nice in the future as it is today. This page will highlight the current project with pictures and stories of our experiences.

The new pictures are up and they show the progress we've been able to make in just a few weekends. I know there's still a lot to do but I'm starting to feel that we're going to finish on time. When we get to this stage we start imagining what the place will look like when it's finished - we hope you will too.

I'm not sure that the pictures really capture the feeling we had when we took them. We had the same reaction we always do when we start a big project. It doesn't seem possible that we'll finish on time. We always do but this is the time when we say to ourselves "What have we done?" The next set of pictures should show some actual improvements rather than demolition.

We're getting a later start this year than most all the others but we haven't scaled back our plans. As a matter of fact we've expanded them. All we wanted to do was put a new tile floor in the entrace, dining room and kitchen of apartment 1 (The Beach) but now we're going much farther and redoing the wallpaper throughout the whole apartment. We'll keep you posted with pictures and updates.
